Riding With Rhythm facilities are great, I loved the observation room. Great when it's cold outside. Plenty of room inside and out to watch the riders. Cleon Wingard is a great teacher, very patient, positive, upbeat, inspiring you to be a better rider. I now feel more confident about my trot, sitting and posting. Thanks Shirley and Cleon for a great experience. I can't wait for the October [clinic] to get here.

Thanks again for a great day!! The Riding With Rhythm facilities are great -- the arena is very spacious and love the open sides. The observation room was much appreciated with the rain, and it was great that we could still hear the clinician. Switching riders and horses went very smoothly, so there were no large gaps between riders. I am very grateful I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Cleon Wingard. He is such a very calm and patient man. The knowledge he has about horses and riding techniques -- it was fascinating listening to him as he instructed me and the other riders. Being fairly new to riding horses, I realized, thanks to Mr. Wingard, there is a difference between riding ... and riding with an understanding of yourself, in relation to the horse. He explained in detail about the pressure of your legs against the horse, the position of your body, and having a calm, but maybe more importantly, a confident presence. I had never thought of riding horses that way. It was such an "aha!" moment for me! Thank you Shirley and Mr. Wingard!

Riding With Rhythm is a lovely quaint horse farm in the rolling Kentucky farmland. It makes for a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day! Shirley, the owner, is super accommodating and an inspiring horsewoman. She provided us with beverages, snacks and lots of enthusiasm! The Cleon Clinic was delightful and insightful. Cleon is observant, patient, and encouraging to all levels of riders. I learned the simplest -- yet most important -- techniques that are often overlooked with new riders: Contact, hand placement, and leg placement. I spent the entire afternoon with other riding enthusiasts and can't wait to get back to Riding With Rhythm for the next clinic!

Riding with Rhythm is amazing! Shirley does an amazing job of not just teaching kids how to get on a horse and ride, but more importantly teaches kids how to care for horse, the safety of both the rider and the horse, as well as not just using mechanics to ride a horse but listening and feeling what the horse is telling you. We participated in both private lessons as well as a monthly Hands of Horse group class. Shirley is amazing with both kids and adults and I am amazed with her big personality in such a tiny body. I cannot write enough words to portray my love and respect for this establishment for building knowledge, confidence, and caring in my daughter and our family and all at a very affordable price. Thank you Riding with Rhythm for all you do!

Our Girl Scout Troop went here to learn more about horses and their care and to earn our riding badge. Shirley was amazing! She kept the kids interested the entire time and was very focused on safety first! The kids had a blast! Would absolutely recommend this instructor and facility to others!!

I took my daughter and her girl scout troop to Riding with Rhythm to earn their Horseback Riding Badge. It was such an awesome experience and all the girls loved it so much. Shirley was so accommodating and kind. I could not have asked for a better instructor for the girls. You can tell this is her passion and she is a wonderful teacher.

Tired of your kids wanting to be on their electronic devices all day? Me too! Riding with Rythm is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn not only how to ride horses, but different styles, and responsibilities that will help them in life! Very affordable, and such a beautiful piece of property, with the owner being a professionals, professional! She's probably forgot more than most of us will know when it comes to this profession! Your child will fall in love with the Horses, and also begin to learn helpful responsibilities that will aid them in their own life! Absolute 5 star, all the way around!!

Shirley and her team at Riding with Rhythm did an amazing job working with Boy Scout Troop 153 from LaGrange, KY to obtain their horsemanship merit badge! They provided exceptional teaching materials and delivered the information in a fun and engaging way. The extensive hands-on experience with the horses and the riding opportunities were fantastic. Shirley with Riding with Rhythm team provided an amazing experience for our Scout Troop. We were the first Boy Scout group she hosted to support completion of the Horsemanship merit badge. Shirley took it upon herself to develop amazing teaching materials for the scouts and did it in a fun and informative way. Everyone from our group was very impressed with everything Shirley and her team put together and how engaging they were with all of the scouts. We all were very appreciative of how much hands on there was with the horses and then the riding opportunities. My six year old son just started lessons with Mrs. Shirley, he and I absolutely adore her! She is so fun, creative, knowledgeable and full of energy. We could not recommend her more! We are constantly looking forward to our next lesson!
