Our students and their families came together for a Non-Spooky Halloween Bash on the third Friday of October! The event begins right after the final Hands on Horse class of the year. Students help dress up the horses in costumes and have a parade, while younger siblings try to guess the costumes. This year’s theme was Frozen! After the parade, students undress the horses for turn out to paddocks and come back to the arena for games. Big Relay Race time starts with youth students and siblings. This year, like last, the favorite was the wheelbarrow race. Shirley’s favorite games are the (fake) poop scooping and feed bag.

It was a great and hilarious night for the wonderful families enrolled in our lesson programs and Shirley’s fantastic adult volunteers.
